Grossi, P.C., 2016. A new brachypterous genus of Brazilian stag beetle (Coleoptera: Lucanidae: Lucaninae) with description of three new species. Zootaxa 4078 (1): 218-229.
Remarks:
As with the genus Altitatiayus Weinreich, Montesinus Grossi consists of flightless species confined to high elevations and montane vegetation. The genus is known from a total of five specimens. Two species are known from only a single female specimen.
